Postdoctoral position: Cell Biology
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position to study pathways regulating endothelial tight junction integrity and endothelial-monocyte interactions. Scientists with a Ph.D. degree, a good background in cell and molecular biology, and interests in endothelial cell function are invited to apply. Successful applicants must possess a strong work ethic and be proficient in standard cell and molecular biology and biochemical techniques. Preferable research skills include: immunoblot analysis, PCR, recombinant protein expression and purification, common approaches to studying protein-protein interactions, as well as experience in mammalian cell culture and confocal microscopy techniques. Applicants must display English proficiency and be able to communicate research findings to the scientific community.
